This one was one of my first ceramic piece, it took me a long time to finish.
Especially when it comes to choosing the right color.
The underglaze color didn't come out as I expected, as I wanted to be more like "ogre" color. Happily ever, after green.
© All rights reserved. If you ask me how hard is it to make ceramics? Well, I must say it depends on how patient you are. When I started to join ceramic class, I though I could make pretty much anything in 1 week.. I WAS WRONG!
It's been over 1 year now, and every time I tried to make a simple salad bowl or a plain vase, ended up making huge mess. So that's why I had to came up with different strategy.. from a bowl to a monster.
So if you ask me again, how hard is it?
I would probably say, "be patient, darling...patient.. I am still working on it!"

Having a Heldegard Linggawidjaja name never been easy, so what if...?
Starting when I was 6 years old, I came home from school demanding my mom to changed my name just like my schoolmate "Santi". I tried so hard to convinced my mom by changing my name I would be as pretty, as smart and had as many friends as she had, the perfect life I wanted to be.
Well a nagging 6 years old sound pretty annoying, but I guess my mom knew me well. So she simply ignored me. And now I am thankful her for that.
At least better than Hruoza Likhvanchik

After finished working in my studio (well, it's garage actually) and turned off the light, I noticed that this cute little ceramic figure turned out to look like a ghost.
Seriously!
It's not supposed to be scary! But I guess I put too little "glow in the dark" powder.
But it scared the hell out of me..
(guess I must put you far far far for awhile)

While some people doing yoga for relaxing, I rather take any paper that sitting in front of me and start doodling here and there. The bad thing, the paper usually one of my invoice. But doesn't matter.. 5 minutes break, won't hurt hi hi hi...
Since most of the time the "doodling" paper always ended up in trash can anyway. But surprisingly this time I did it in Illustration, and good to go!
I named this a Pink Octopus bwah! so predictable! ...any suggestion?
